Grace In Between
Dating is not just about finding someone; it’s about discerning God's will with wisdom and intention. As Proverbs reminds us, we are not to lean on our own understanding, but to acknowledge Him in all our ways. That includes matters of the heart. God didn’t give us these instructions to limit us; He gave them to protect us. To create space where we can grow, explore, and connect while being safely held within His grace. John 5:30 says, “I can do nothing on my own.” That truth becomes especially clear in the in-between, when you walk by faith, get to know someone, and trust God to guide every step. This season of dating isn’t just a path to marriage—it’s a process of growing in your identity in Christ, sharpening your discernment, and experiencing the gentle grace of God in the unknown. So enjoy this season. Ask questions. Seek clarity. Keep your heart open — but tethered to God. Because even if the one you thought was “it” isn’t, you can rest knowing that God’s best is never second to your plan.
Always Remember:
Dating is for discernment.
Marriage is for commitment.
And in the middle, there is grace.
